Today we decided to lighten up our robot so that we could reach weight regulations. We accomplished this by removing the two front and rear wheels.
Yup thats right, we drive with only two wheels!
You're probably asking yourself "how?" or "why?"
Well, let me stop your thought process by saying that this robot balances by pure awesomeness!
It only looks like casters but its actually all an illusion! :D Just kidding... We used casters to improve mobility and decrease weight. We killed two birds with one stone and still remain to look totally awesome!
On another note, we switched our wood mini bot deployment mechanism to a metal deployment system so that it could take more of a beating.
